WHY DO SPORTS AND TRAINING WHEN AGING?

When someone trains, walks or goes for a run when aging, the possibility to age healthy is much higher. Even if you only start with easy mobility exercises you can increase you well being.

For sport it’s never too late!

Within age related illnesses, such as back pain, joint pain or cardiovascular illness a controlled and limited training is reasonable!

Mostly the start into training and the right choices of exercises are the biggest difficulties for my clients. Therefore as physio therapist and health consultant I will assist and advice you.

CONTROLLED TRAINING

The senior-physio-training consists of fitness, mobility and coordination exercises that I have put together for older people. The beginning will be very soft to avoid any injuries. As personal trainer and physio therapist I especially have a look onto the correct exercises.

Most important: the training should be fun!

CONTENT

  • Constant, easy fitness and strength training
  • Mobility training
  • Balance and coordination training (e.g. to avoid falls)
  • Easy endurance training

30 MINUTES CONVERSATION AND PHYSIO TEST

Before we start with the training I will do a physio therapeutically check, measure blood pressure and we talk about existing illnesses. The results will be reviewed together and an individual training plan provided.

GOALS OF SENIOR-PHYSIO-TRAININ

  • Prevent age-related illnesses (wrong posture, back pain, high blood pressure)
  • Strengthen muscles and keeping mobility
  • Prevent falls, less pain and increase of general well being
